Day 01: BALIKPAPAN, SAMARINDA, MAHAKAM (LD)
Upon arrival at Balikpapan airport, meeting service and transfer to Loa Janan, to board houseboat for exciting adventure on Mahakam river. Meals provided and overnight on houseboat.
Day 02: MUARA MUNTAI, MANCONG, TANJUNG ISUY (BLD)
Short sight seeing at Muara Muntai Wooden village, then crossing Jempang Lake by motor canoe to Mancong. During the cruise you could see Rain forest and wildlife at Ohong creek like monkey’s and birds, Upon arrival at Mancong, welcomed with a traditional ceremony by the Dayaq Benuaq, one of the Oldest Dayak Longhouse of East Kalimantan can be found here, Late afternoon by motor canoe to Tanjung Isuy for sightseeing and continue to Houseboat for sail upstream while dinner and overnight.
Day 03: MUARA PAHU, KEDANG PAHU RIVER, MOUNT BAYAN, TERBISAK, DOWNSTREAM (BLD)
Arrive at Muara Pahu, cruise upstream the Kedang Pahu River by canoe for more then one hour by canoe to Mount Bayan to visit Terbisak Dayak village known of it’s Longhouse of the Benauq Dayak tribe which is still habituated by about 100 Dayak people living in their community house, and traditions of dry rise fielding and hunting, continue downstream by canoe, along the river bank, we will enjoy the exotic nature, and wildlife as otters, leave monkeys, endangered proboscis monkeys and birds, before we move to the delta of the Belowan river as a black water peatswamp forest land, with opportunities to spot the fresh water dolphins in the colliding stream of the Kedang Pahu and the Bolowan River. Afternoon, return to houseboat for downstream to Tenggarong.
Day 04: TENGGARONG, SANGATTA (BLD)
Arrive at Tenggarong, visiting the former palace of Sultan Kutai Kertanegara. Where you will see the Sultan's impressive collection of heirlooms, ceramics, Dayak's art and culture items, until departure transfer to Sangatta about six hours to Sangatta. Check in at Hotel, for dinner and overnight.
Day 05: SANGATTA, KUTAI NATIONAL PARK (BLD)
Early in the morning by motor canoe upstream Sangatta River into the jungle of Kutai National Park Reserve. Upon Arrival at Prefab Orangutan Research station, we will drop our stuff and direct start a jungle trek into the forest, looking for wildlife and Orangutans, which are completely wild. Afternoon return to Prefab Station for Lunch and rest, late afternoon another forest trek searching for wild and experience the beauty of the Rainforest flora and Fauna here. Dinner and overnight at Prefab Research station.
Day 06: KUTAI RESERVE, DELTA SANGATTA RIVER, MUARA WAHAU (BLD) After Breakfast by motor canoe to the mangrove forest at the Delta of the Sangatta River to spot Longnose Monkeys, Birds, Crocodiles and other wild in the Mangrove Forest. Return to Sangatta for lunch and afterwards transfer to Muara Wahau for overnight at Hotel.
Day 07: MUARA WAHAU, MERABU (BLD)
Breakfast at Hotel, preparation for our adventure trip, check out of Hotel, and drive for about two hours over a bouncing unpaved road into the dark Jungle of Borneo, before we head into a muddy path for about one hour drive time towards Merabu Dayak village, to end up at one of the side rivers of the Longgi river, if the water level is low we can cross the river by car, otherwise we will leave the vehicle and cross the river by canoe to Merabu village which is a small settlement of about 200 people of the Dayak Lebo tribe, which will host us for the night at one of their local houses, Evening a Dance ceremony could be held, Lunch on the way, dinner at local house at Merabu.
Day 08: MERABU, KARST CAVE BELOYOT (BLD)
Simple breakfast by our local host will be prepared, before we start our trek of about 3 hours, from the village Merabu located at the foot of one of the world largest and untouched limestone forest into the Karst Mountains to the Beloyot limestone crop, which have several caves, with a historic human manuscripts of 3000 year old, beside unknown fossils, human sculpts, and lakes can be found in the several caves of Beloyot Limestone crop, Lunch and dinner will be prepared en route, overnight at Cave
Day 09: BELOYOT, NYADENG LAKE (BLD)
Simple breakfast at Cave, before we continue trekking to Nyadeng for about two to three hours through untouched limestone forest, possibility to spot wildlife mammals as several monkey species, birds and lizard during the trek. Once arrived at Nyadeng you can enjoy the bright watershed lake of the Karst limestone mountains, at your feet as a mirror to your face, from the lake we continue to the Poyong Crop, which hold a dry Cave at about 300 meters above sea level, which give us a nice view over the limestone forest, possibility to overnight at the Cave or continue by Canoe to Merabu village to overnight at Local house, meals prepared en route.
Day 10: MERABU, BERAU (BL)
Simple breakfast at Cave or Local house, before we continue by car over a muddy path passing the primary forest for about two hours to the main road which will bring us in about three hours to Berau Airport/Hotel.
