DIVERSE BORNEO
Tour Duration: 06 Days / 05 Nights
Day 01: ARRIVAL IN PALANGKARAYA, PULAU KAJA (LD)
Upon arrival at
Palangkaraya airport, meeting service and direct
transfer to Rungan Sari Resort, check-in, for a short rest, before we
proceed to the harbor for a cruise upstream Rungan River passing Kaja
Island ( Pulau Kaja ) as the releas island of orangutans of Nyaru
Menteng Rehabilitation center of Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation,
Pulau Kaja covers about 200 hectares and has about 50 orangutans which
we can spot from the river in their wild habitat, afterwards return to
Rungan Sari Resort for overnight.

Day 02: BATILAP,
BLACK PUNING RIVER (BLD)
Breakfast
at Resort, before we proceed for about 4 hours drive crossing prestine
lowland and peat swamp forest to Betung, we will cruise the Black
Puning River to Batilap village for overnight at a floating stilt house
of the local people.
Day 03: BLACK PUNING RIVER (BLD)
Simple
Breakfast, then we start the day with trekking into the jungle
to explore wild orangutans and other wildlife creatures as
birds, sun bears, gibbons, as well as various flora vegetations of
Borneo. In the afternoon, we will cruise by
canoe deeper in Borneo 's jungle of the Black Puning
River which give us another opportunity to spot various
wildlife as proboscis monkeys, long tail macaques, many birds
species sliding away along the river bank in the trees of the forest.

Lunch will be served en route,
dinner and overnight on campsite on riverside.
Day
04: BLACK PUNING RIVER, BLACK ORCHID, NAGARA, LOKSADO (BLD)
After
breakfast, continue cruising the canopy of the romantic Buntal
River with another day of wildlife pleasure of birds,
proboscis monkeys, long tail macaques, monitor lizards and other wild
animals species along riverside in the jungle, we continue by car
to Sanggu village to explore black orchid and other species,
as the carnivorous

plants, afterwards to Muning where we catch a boat to the narrow canal
to Nagara to spot the waterbuffaloes swim in the swamp forest while we
enjoy the fascinating sunset of the
swamp lake, to continue to Loksado for overnight at Lodge.
Day
05: BAMBOO RAFTING, BANJARMASIN (BLD)
After
breakfast at lodge, we will have a soft trekking to Dayak village for
exploring the longhouse, rainforest, and the waterfall nearby the
village. Afterwards, we will take an adventure trip of bamboo rafting
across beautiful landscape of tropical rainforest along the Amandit
riverside meanwhile our coach will be waiting on the downstream for
transferring to Banjarmasin for overnight at hotel.
Day 06: FLOATING MARKET
BANJARMASIN, DEPARTURE (B)
Early
in the morning, we will leave to floating market for exploring the
unique culture of Banjarese that trade commodities from boat to boat,
then return to hotel crossing Banjarmasin River while sightseeing
people activities at riverside, free at your own leisure till the
proper time for transferring to airport for your next destination.
