JUNGLE ADVENTURE

Day
01: ARRIVAL IN BANJARMASIN (D)
Meet at airport and directly transfer to hotel for check in. Next,
exploring Banjarese river civilization by taking an afternoon canal
sightseeing. Afterwards, return to hotel for overnight. Free at own
leisure.
Day
02: BANJARMASIN, MERATUS MOUNTAIN (BLD)
Early in the morning, transfer to Kiyo village for
short sightseeing. Afterwards, we will be trekking into Meratus
Mountain crossing hills, forest, shifting cultivation, etc. Lunch will
be served en route, dinner and overnight on bivouac/tent.
Day
03: DATAR ALAI, JUMANTIR (BLD)
After breakfast, we will be trekking to Sungai Karuh waterfall while
exploring vegetation and animals on our trail. Next, we will be hiking
to Jumantir crossing dense primary forest. In the evening, we will
learn from the Dayak man how to set the animal trap. Lunch will be
served en route, dinner and overnight on bivouac/tent at riverside.

Day
04: JUMANTIR, MOUNT BESAR PEAK (BLD)
After breakfast, we will be trekking uphill through mossy trees and
orchids to reach the peak of mount Besar, the roof of South Borneo
where we can see beautiful panorama of Borneo dense jungle from above.
Lunch will be served en route, dinner and overnight on bivouac/tent at
the peak.
Day
05: MOUNT BESAR, KATUAN (BLD)
After packing up our stuff, we will trek down the peak to Katuan for
setting our campsite. Lunch will be served en route, dinner and
overnight on bivouac/tent at riverside.
Day
06: KATUAN, HARATAI (BLD)
Proceed to Haratai Waterfall crossing primary rainforest, beautiful
valley, hills, and shifting |

cultivation. Afterwards, we will get soft
trekking to Haratai village for about 15 minutes. Lunch will be served
en route, dinner and overnight on longhouse.
Day
07: HARATAI, BAMBOO RAFTING, BANJARMASIN (BLD)
Trekking downhill to Loksado for about 2 hours and directly get an
adventure trip of bamboo rafting crossing beautiful landscape of
tropical rainforest along the riverside meanwhile our coach will be
waiting on the downstream for driving to Banjarmasin, a stop will be
made at Cempaka village to explore traditional diamond digging and
polishing where people take material out of the ground then shake them
on the pan of wood for finding raw diamond, overnight on hotel in
Banjarmasin.

08: DEPARTURE (B)
Early in the morning, we will leave to
floating market for exploring
the unique culture of Banjarese who trade their commodities from boat
to boat, then return to hotel crossing Banjarmasin River while
sightseeing people activities on riverside. Free at own leisure till
the proper time for transferring to airport for your next destination.

Trek
the jungle of the Meratus Mountain to
Dayak villages, the trek lead us to primary rainforest, over
hills, passing waterfalls,
crossing hanging and suspended bamboo bridges between the farmlands, a
bamboo rafting adventure at the Amandit River. At the floating
market, we explore the unique
Banjarese trade of commodities as fruit, and
vegetables from boat to boat. From Mount
Tangkiling, we get a view over Kalimantan
‘s emerald jungle landscape from the top. Cruise the Rungan River to Kaja Island ( Pulau Kaja
), where we can spot the orangutans from the river side, at Nyaru Menteng
arboretum we got information of the rehabilitation
