Wild Orangutan Tourist spot Borneo
Kutai National Park is dominated by a Dipterocarpaceae lowland tropical rainforest, and a perfect place tp spot wildlife at one of the three main points in Kutai park. For those who wish to see orangutans, Prevab station is the best place Proboscis Monkeys and crocodiles and lots of birds at the delta mangrove forest. The third is a great flora spot, an old tree Sangkima station is worth a visit, where you can find a more then 1.000 years old tree.

Upon arrival at Balikpapan airport, meeting service and transfer of about seven hours to Sangatta. Check in at Simple Hotel, for dinner and overnight.
Day 02: SANGATTA, KUTAI NATIONAL PARK (BLD)
Early in the morning by motor canoe upstream Sangatta River into the jungle of Kutai National Park Reserve. Upon Arrival at Morio Jungle Lodge, we will drop our stuff and direct start a jungle trek into the forest, looking for wildlife and Orangutans, which are completely wild. Afternoon return to Prefab Station for Lunch and rest, late afternoon another forest trek searching for wild and experience the beauty of the Rainforest flora and Fauna here. Dinner and overnight at Morio guesthouse in the rainforest of the reserve.
Day 03: KUTAI RESERVE, DELTA SANGATTA RIVER (BLD)
After Breakfast by motor canoe to the mangrove forest at the Delta of the Sangatta River to spot Longnose Monkeys, Birds, Crocodiles and other wild in the Mangrove Forest. Return to Sangatta for lunch and afterwards transfer to Samarinda for overnight at Hotel.
Day 04: SAMARINDA, BALIKPAPAN (B)
Breakfast, free at leisure, and enjoy the hotel atmosphere, until departure transfer to Balikpapan airport for your flight to your next destination.

Tour Package Duration 05 Days / 04 NightsDay 01: BALIKPAPAN, SAMARINDA, MAHAKAM (LD)
Upon arrival at Balikpapan airport, meeting service and transfer to Loa Janan, to board houseboat for exciting adventure on Mahakam river. Meals provided and overnight on houseboat.
Day 02: MUARA MUNTAI, MANCONG, TANJUNG ISUY,MUARA PAHU (BLD)
Short sight seeing at Muara Muntai Wooden village, then crossing Jempang Lake by motor canoe to Mancong. During the cruise you could see Rain forest and wildlife at Ohong creek like monkey’s and birds, Upon arrival at Mancong, welcomed with a traditional ceremony by the Dayaq Benuaq, one of the Oldest Dayak Longhouse of East Kalimantan can be found here, Late afternoon by motor canoe to Tanjung Isuy for sightseeing and continue to Houseboat for dinner and overnight. Houseboat will cruise up to Muara Pahu.
Day 03: MUARA PAHU, KEDANG PAHU RIVER, MOUNT BAYAN, TERBISAK, DOWNSTREAM (BLD)
Arrive at Muara Pahu, cruise upstream the Kedang Pahu River by canoe for more then one hour by canoe to Mount Bayan to visit Terbisak Dayak village known of it’s Longhouse of the Benauq Dayak tribe which is still habituated by about 100 Dayak people living in their community house, and traditions of dry rise fielding and hunting, continue downstream by canoe, along the river bank, we will enjoy the exotic nature, and wildlife as otters, leave monkeys, endangered proboscis monkeys and birds, before we move to the delta of the Belowan river as a black water peat swamp forest land, with opportunities to spot the fresh water dolphins in the colliding stream of the Kedang Pahu and the Bolowan River. Afternoon, return to houseboat for downstream to Tenggarong.
Day 04: TENGGARONG, SANGATTA, KUTAI NATIONAL PARK (BLD)
Early in the morning downstream by houseboat to Tenggarong. Arrive at Tenggarong, visiting the former palace of Sultan Kutai Kartanegara. Where you will see the Sultans impressive collection of heirlooms, ceramics, Dayak art and culture items. Afterwards by car to Sangatta village, cruising up Sangatta River by motor canoe into the jungle of Kutai National Park to Morio Jungle guesthouse to drop our stuff and direct start a jungle trek into the forest, looking for wildlife and Orangutans, which are completely wild. Lunch on the way, Dinner and overnight at Morio lodge, hearing the sounds of the forest by night, possibility for a night trek
Day 05: KUTAI NATIONAL PARK, BALIKPAPAN (BL)
Early in the morning another forest trek at Kutai National Park searching for wild life and orangutans, experiencing the beauty of the flora & fauna of the Rainforest. Afterwards by car to Balikpapan airport for your flight to your next destination ( late afternoon/early evening ).

Upstream along the river bank Morio jungle lodge appears, as our base to hike the rainforest and search Orangutans and other wildlife in the dense jungle. Afternoon return to Morio Jungle lodge tree top roof terrace for Lunch and rest, late afternoon another forest trek searching for wildlife and experience the beauty of the Rainforest flora and Fauna here. Dinner and overnight at Morio guesthuse in the rainforest.
Day 03: KUTAI RESERVE, DELTA SANGATTA RIVER, MUARA WAHAU (BLD)

Day 04: MUARA WAHAU, MERABU (BLD)
Breakfast at Hotel, preparation for our adventure trip, check out of Hotel, and drive for about two hours over a bouncing unpaved road into the dark Jungle of Borneo, before we head into a muddy path for about one hour drive time towards Merabu Dayak village, to end up at one of the side rivers of the Longgi river, if the water level is low we can cross the river by car, otherwise we will leave the vehicle and cross the river by canoe to Merabu village which is a small settlement of about 200 people of the Dayak Lebo tribe, which will host us for the night at one of their local houses, Evening a Dance ceremony could be held, Lunch on the way, dinner at local house at Merabu.
Day 05: MERABU, KARST CAVE BELOYOT (BLD)
Simple breakfast by our local host will be prepared, before we start our trek of about 3 hours, from the village Merabu located at the foot of one of the world largest and untouched limestone forest into the Karst Mountains to the Beloyot limestone crop, which have several caves, with a historic human manuscripts of 3000 year old, beside unknown fossils, human sculpts, and lakes can be found in the several caves of Beloyot Limestone crop, Lunch and dinner will be prepared en route, overnight at Cave
Day 06: BELOYOT, NYADENG LAKE (BLD)
Simple breakfast at Cave, before we continue trekking to Nyadeng for about two to three hours through untouched limestone forest, possibility to spot wildlife mammals as several monkey species, birds and lizard during the trek. Once arrived at Nyadeng you can enjoy the bright watershed lake of the Karst limestone mountains, at your feet as a mirror to your face, from the lake we continue to the Poyong Crop, which hold a dry Cave at about 300 meters above sea level, which give us a nice view over the limestone forest, possibility to overnight at the Cave or continue by Canoe to Merabu village to overnight at Local house, meals prepared en route.
Day 07: MERABU, BERAU (BL)
Simple breakfast at Cave or Local house, before we continue by car over a muddy path passing the primary forest for about two hours to the main road which will bring us in about three hours to Berau Hotel.
